It was a little over a year ago when we lost our almost thirteen year old gigantic mutt named Bear, who was one of gentlest, mellowest dogs I’ve ever met. Being an animal lover and a firm believer in giving shelter pets new homes, I pestered my husband until he agreed that we could get another dog.
