Ilove homemade stuff, esp cleaning supplies. Its so much safer and cheaper so is a no brainer for me! Thanks for the great post with so good ideas

In my area the mall has a kids’ class twice a week where they do songs, dances, activities, and a craft. The craft is always made from recycled items. We have decorated “gingerbread men” made from paper bags using wrapping paper from Christmas, made “gingerbread houses” using boxes and wrapping paper, and made reindeer using toilet paper tubes and scraps of decorative paper. I think this is a great idea. I do try to reuse things if I can, but at the same time I don’t feel that it’s worth it to save every single container if I’m not going to use it. In those cases I recycle.

I have a habit of saving all my product containers and have too many. But I also find that I don’t like clutter. When I replace something or we no longer need something, I will keep it around for a while to see if we can repurpose to otherwise use it. Then one day I will make it gone (recycle, trash, give away). Too often I then discover a purpose for it… but I can’t keep everything around forever!

For your facial toners is it just a full bottle of witch hazel and then the 10 drops of tea tree oil?

I let my 15 month daughter color the newspaper after I read it. She likes it just as much as coloring books.
