Oh, my. We’ll be at the beach with my sister, BIL, mom and dad and 2 under 2 this summer. I hope we remember everything! I’m just like you, the sun hat is a must to bring along, more important than the swim diaper.

Thanks for sharing! My husband and I are a month away from welcoming our first child, and we know that life will be changing in many ways! I’m so excited about our baby boy, but I’m also wondering if I will be able to “do it all” (especially with all the extra time and effort it will take to go anywhere)! But, I know that the blessing of a child (and hopefully more children in the future will far outweigh the work! I really do like reading about the lives of other moms, and hearing their honest and real life situations and taking in their advice!

thanks for sharing. i still love the beach vacation though for our family of 5. the 7 year old is alright in the water (but of course one of us is watching him anyhow), the 4 yr. old swims with a floaty and enjoys the beach a lot. the only challenge is the 15 months old one, who will be eating all the sand and fearlessly run into the water. but typically we take turns in watching them, so I get a nap or am able to read a magazin.

Oh goodness, I would have been a nervous wreck with those little ones all trying to go swimming! It sounds fun though. I hope to be able to take my kids sometime this summer.

Now that I finally have a swimsuit again, I’m going to have to figure out what I’m going to do about swim diapers. I cringe at the idea of buying a disposable one at such an exorbitant price. Maybe my favorite baby boutique has some cloth ones I could buy.
